Hippo 2016- Our 2016 Hippo is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Sun-dried tomato and tarragon flavors predominate and the wine is wonderfully broad and smooth on the palate. This traditional Rhone blend works well with beef stew or cassoulet.
Barbera 2015- Barons Creek Barbera shows exuberant tangy raspberry and bright American oak aromas. It’s fresh and racy on the palate with medium-plus body. An excellent companion for pasta with tomato-based sauce.
Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2016- Barons Creek is proud to present our second Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in new French and American oak barrels for fourteen months, this is a rich and luxurious wine. Deep dark chocolate and black currant flavors combine seamlessly to the wine a classic Cab. This is a perfect pick with ribeye steak or beef tenderloin. Drink now or age up to five years.
Chardonnay 2015-From the shores of San Francisco Bay, hints of melon and layers of fruit. With a creamy butterscotch finish that lingers on the palate. Pairs well with grilled chicken or fettucine alfredo.
Viognier 2017-Our Viognier is sourced from the Texas High Plains AVA. It exhibits lovely flavors of ripe apricot and delicate lemon zest. With a long, creamy finish, it is a fantastic companion for shrimp cocktail or lobster tail.
