September Club Dinner

Hello Club Members!

For our August dinner, Chef Megan has once again come up with a great menu featuring some of our best BCV wines, along with a sneak peak of your September Club Release. The wines featured will be the new 2021 Albariño as our welcome drink, for dinner we will feature the 2020 Velvet, and our not yet released 2020 Crazy Train certainly a steak worthy wine and for desert, our 2021 Muscat Canelli. On a separate note, this is, in my opinion, our best vintage of Crazy Train - Cabernet Sauvignon ever. As many of you know, I was with BCV when the doors weren't even open and had my hands on with the creation of our flagship Cabernet. The 2018 vintage was a wonderful bottling which was only bested by the 2013 vintage. But this 2020 vintage is perfect. Fruit, earth and grippy tannins are perfectly balanced. I can't wait to share it with you.

Again this month as we are featuring two wines that aren’t available until the end of September… unless, of course, you are at the club dinner.

Our September 2022 Wine Pairing Dinner with Chef Megan will be held at Restaurant Anise on Thursday, September 8th. The dinner service will run from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Restaurant Anise. Doors open at 6:00pm for gathering to share a glass of wine with one another.

Chef Megan prepares these menus exclusively for Barons Creek Club Members, if you’ve never attended, it’s truly a special treat. The menu selection and wine pairings are yet again something quite wonderful. We will be featuring our 2020 Velvet paired with Ahi Tuna, Mustard-Sesame Dressing, Asian Pear and Wonton Chips. Followed by Ostrich, Roasted Turnips, Wild Rice, Pistachios and a Chocolate Balsamic Sauce served with our amazing 2020 Crazy Train. And dessert will consist of Lemon Curd, Orange Blossom Lime Ganache, Almond Crust, with our softly sweet Muscat Canelli… yum.

If you've never had Ostrich, you are in for quite a wonderful experience.

The cost is only $75 per person (plus tax & 20% gratuity, charged at time of reservation) The evening includes three courses, each paired with one of our wines. See the attached menu for details on the dinner. As always, we will have a supply of the wines we feature for you to take home at special pricing that evening.

Seating is limited and these dinners do fill up fast - so move quickly to secure your seats.
